ABL to expand product offering :: Oct. 30, 2004
ABL will launch two new products and updated versions of the TherapyEdge-HIV and ViroScoreTM Suite products while exhibiting at the 44th ICAAC meeting. TherapyEdge-HIV has entered it's fourth generation code base and is a very mature product. We have responded to users requests for a more complete patient record, included reports for the CDC and PEPFAR and modified the alerting system to be customizable. and tightly integrated our resistance interpretation system expanded the HIV specific patient record.
The ViroScoreTM Suite is now tightly integrated with TherapyEdge-HIV so users can now use the data from the ViroScoreTM Suite HIV virus sequence database in conjunction with the rich clinical data from TherapyEdge-HIV. The power of this combined data will foster new research and improve clinical care. This update includes light versions of TherapyEdge-HIV and ViroScoreTM Suite which will be available as web services on a monthly subscription basis.
Our first new product is the our TherapyEdge-MyView patient interface. We had many requests over the years from patients and patient groups to have access to the same patient records and online tools that were being used by their doctors, so it is exciting to see these come to fruition. When used in conjunction with a clinic using TherapyEdge-HIV, there is a secure messaging system between patients and their care givers.
The second product is the TherapyEdge-Rapid Capture module. This module of TherapyEdge-HIV is a direct response to the needs of hospitals and large HIV clinics who see a great number of patients each day and need a simple printed form and matching page in the system for rapid data entry. This system was designed to capture all the pertinent data required for proper patient care and accurate reporting for PEPFAR and CDC required indicators.
